Memorial Park Skatepark Location

We are very excited to announce that Memorial Park in Brainerd has been approved to be the location for the Lakes Area Skatepark! We thankfully received a unanimous vote from the Brainerd Parks Board to make this approval. The city of Brainerd and local businesses have also shown support. We are grateful for all of our community backing!

The initial spot for the skatepark is in the Memorial Park parking lot on the corner of Mill Avenue and Q Street. Spohn Ranch skatepark company graciously created renderings of what our skatepark could look like. These renderings are conceptual, we will be designing our very own custom skatepark when the time comes.

Our overall goal is to raise $1 million to fund a 15,000 square foot skatepark. Our efforts will not stop until we achieve our mission of providing a safe and accessible skatepark for the Lakes Area Community! If you would like to get involved in any way, please reach out to us!
